Blog 2: The best vacation ever
Hey! What's up?
In today's blog I'm going to talk you about one of the best (if not the best) vacation that I had in my entire life! In February 2018, I went to Chiloe. Yes, I know. I have never go outside of the country, but it doesn't matter! Because Chile is a really beautiful country, but anyway, I'll continue talking about my vacations.
In 2018 I was still a member of a Scout's group, and in our CamVer (Summer Camp) we went to Chiloe during the first half of February. This camp was really exciting in comparison of other. Why? Well, there are so many thing that we done, for example, we do the "Raid": In this activity we travel across the region and learn about it's people. Why this is so special? Because we need to hitch-hike! Or walk, but we normally do the first, and when the night arrives, we need to choose a place to sleep. Yes, very dangerous, but exciting!
Well, it was a really good camp, at least until a disaster happened: It was midnight, and the people were screaming, but why? I can remember it very clear. Nearby our position there was a fire. That night we had to evacuate all the persons in the camp, kids with no more than ten years, teenagers and adults. My unit (the olders before the adults), had to acompany the childrens and keep calm. It was really a disaster (Sorry, but in my personal it was exciting). Then the firefighters arrived and we had to be transfered to a school, and in that place we past the night.
In fact, we appeared in the news of the region, jeje:
That were a really crazy vacations, but really fun. It was the second time that I visited Chiloe, and I can tell that I really love the region, specially Puerto Varas, nearby our camp location.
Hope you enjoyed!
