Blog 5: My future job
Hello everyone!
Today, I'm going to talk about the idea that I have of my future job. To be honest, imagining me working isn't easy, because my future prospects aren't so clear. I want to go outside Chile, and work being an archaeologist, specialized in maritime archeology, egyptology or paleontology.
About my salary, well, in some moment I thinked about the salary that I want to have, and searching in the internet, I found that in the United States, the archeologist gains on average US$50.200, which translated into our reality would be 4.028.550 chilean pesos per month.
In my case, I can't imagine me in a office, writing the entire day about something. I'm going to work in field. Exploring archeologycal sites, going underwater, discovering some places and tools that aren't discover yet.
I imagine me traveling worldwide, visiting nations like Egypt, the United States, England, Palestine, places like amazon jungle, the Longmen Grottoes, etcétera, and to be possible, being accompanied by my family, who would be be able to know the world with me.
On the other hand, the physical antrophology spacialty also interest me, and in that case I think that I want to work being an forensic antropologist. I don't know, series like CSI inspire me, but I also prefer the archeology.
